In Paris, 7 - 13 September
This September my collection travels to Paris. You’ll find it at Pop Up Store “le 8”, a boutique éphémère at 8 Rue des Ciseaux, 75006 Paris, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Nearest metro: Mabillon or Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
The work is on display all week, so you’re welcome to come and look even if you’re not joining a workshop. Anything you buy in the shop you can simply take with you.
Kintsugi Workshops in Saint-Germain
Three beginner’s workshops, taught in English:
- Tuesday 8 September, 15:00 – 17:00
- Friday 11 September, 15:00 – 17:00
- Saturday 12 September, 12:00 – 14:00
Two hours, €30 per person, all materials included. Maximum eight people, so there’s time for everyone. No experience needed. We start with the story behind Kintsugi, then you repair your own piece from start to finish. We work with the modern method, which sets quickly, so you take it home the same day.
Have something broken at home? Bring it. A cup, a bowl, a small plate you’re attached to, ideally broken into a few clean pieces rather than shattered. That’s often when the workshop really lands. If you don’t have anything, I bring pieces you can use.
My work
My work
Every piece is repaired by hand and one of a kind. Ceramics I’ve repaired with gold, and pins and lights I design myself.
I work with the modern Kintsugi method: the same principle and the same golden seam as the traditional urushi lacquer, but with contemporary materials that are safe to handle and cure in days rather than months. Pieces made this way are decorative. Made to keep and to look at, not for daily food use or the dishwasher.

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Commissions are welcome: if you have a piece you’d like repaired, or something you’d like made in memory of someone, please contact me.

I ship worldwide from the Netherlands. Everything is packed carefully, insured and sent with track and trace.

For destinations outside the EU, please contact us and we will send you a quote within one working day. Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes in the destination country.
Workshops and private sessions
Beyond Paris, I teach Kintsugi at my studio in Tiel and at other locations across the Netherlands: group workshops, private sessions, and days for teams and organisations. I also teach at retreats on request, in the Netherlands and abroad, in France among other places.
