Kintsugi from the Netherlands

Inspiring Kintsugi Art, handmade and shipped worldwide.

Every piece is repaired by hand and one of a kind. I work with the modern Kintsugi method: the same golden seam as traditional urushi lacquer, with contemporary materials that are safe to handle and cure in days instead of months. Made to keep and to look at.

Made for you

Looking for something personal? I make Kintsugi Art to order, from small pieces to larger work. The shape, the colour and the way the golden lines run: we decide together. Custom work starts at €80 for small pieces.

I also make Kintsugi Urns and memorial lights, in the shape and colour you choose, with golden lines that can grow into a tree of life. A small urn is ready within about four weeks.

Shop Highlights

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Pieces are decorative: made to keep and to look at, not for daily food use or the dishwasher.

Looking for something specific, a brooch, an urn, a bowl or a custom piece? Get in touch and I will gladly think along with you.

Note: my webshop is in Dutch. Your browser will translate it well enough, and if anything is unclear, just send me a message. I answer in English.

Say hello

I’d love to hear from you, in English or Dutch.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing with gold. Not to hide what broke, but to embrace it in plain sight. Remember this when you feel broken.
